Taji was brought here with her siblings and mother just a few days after they were born. The litter appeared healthy, ate heartily, and grew quickly. Within days, we noticed the broken tail on one tiny baby as it wiggled away from the clutch of nursing bodies. Since then, we've watched Taji carefully, with concern.
She didn't grow as fast as the others, and even required supplementing with formula. She just didn't fight for a teat like the others. Taji has continued to be extremely docile, and will turn away from the bowl if there is too much competition. She has always been a very vocal kitten, with big, sad eyes.
Now Taji is 6 months old, and she still isn't growing like she should have. She is also not walking like she should be, and it's getting worse. We are now collecting funds to take Taji in for a vet visit, and find out what's going on. We are hoping it is something that can be fixed, even if it requires removing her tail. This baby has never qualified for a foster home due to her condition, and has watched all of her siblings and friends move away.
Please help support our mission to save little innocent lives like Taji's!
